Dr. Eugene Clark Library

FOL History

The Friends of the Dr. Eugene Clark Library was organized in 1963, primarily to promote interest in the library. Over the years the organization has been instrumental in the restoration and expansion of the library.

In 2014 the friends gave over $80,000 to purchase shades, the second floor furniture, and the teen furniture for the current expansion. Friends also helped with the expansion back in the year 2000.

The Friends are a 2014 recipient of the Baker & Taylor award, a national award given for outstanding efforts to support the library. Two groups are chosen each year.
